I know you have assisted many balls during your life, but you sure haven’t assisted the Sneaker Ball in Aspen. THE BALLS YOU HAVE BEEN TO SUCH AS Christmas Balls, Spring Balls and many others are nothing compared to this. If you haven’t yes assisted The Sneaker Ball, just stop wasting time and make room in your vacation for it. The ball takes place in March every year at the St. Regis Hotel. The ball is able to offer a lot of fun if you go. The Sneaker Ball begun in 1986, when Reebok held the first ball because they were going out on the market for the first time. It was Al Gross and David Nauss that held that ball and you should know that at the beginning it was nothing but an ordinary ball, like any other ball, except that the persons that assisted the ball were all wearing Reebok Sneakers. How did the party get to Aspen after all? Well, Al Gross noticed that the ball was on everybody’s taste and that they were really having fun and so he decided to modify it a little. The next year, everyone was wearing formal clothes with decorated tennis shoes. And in way to make the ball even more satisfying, he moved it to Aspen. That was the place where people came to party and where they would travel thousands of miles just to come to the ball. An important aspect of the ball is that all the money from the tickets are given to children that don’t have material possibilities and counting that a ticket coasts 125 dollars, we realize what an important sum of money is given to improve the children’s life. This ball is for any type of people: for famous and infamous, for rich and normal people. Yet, the party has a certain Hollywood glam and if you have ever wished of attending one of those parties, you shouldn’t miss this ball. |
